Course register & examination regulations

If not restricted in the annotated course catalogue (KVV), you are free to choose all courses at the IPW & ISH. Please refer to the respective KVV to infer the start date and language of the lecture/seminar as well as the precise semester dates.

If not stated differently in the individual events in the KVV, you have the opportunity to behold the seminars in the first sessions before you finally update your Learning Agreement for the current semester.

Please note that the lecturers will announce the details of the Studien- and Prüfungsleistungen at the beginning of the course. In case of uncertainty, please refer to the respective lecturer individually.

A registration deadline for course examinations across the IPW and ISH does not exist. You can find information about examinations here:

When creating the Learning Agreement, please take the average ECTS points of a seminar or a lecture from the respective examination regulations. Please note that the listed modules usually consist of several courses. Accordingly, the ECTS credits awarded for a course are less than those for the entire module.
